The role is a part of The Babyshop Group’s Buying department. The Employee will report to the
Category Manager responsible for the prop. Brands. The roll will be supporting all categories.
Core Responsibilities:
· Delivery coordination – maintain close communication with Factories to verify the deliveries are handled correctly, shipped on time and according to our guidelines. Have a close contact with GEODIS and the warehouse
· Purchase order registration for new products and re-ordering of existing products including maintenance of product sales and cost prices in all currencies the Group sells in. Article registration and be a support for feeding photo/content with information
· Communicate with vendors to address delivery issues, differences between purchase order and other issues. Responsible to report issues regarding delivery issues to Product Manager
· Responsible for organizing documents and invoices in Airtable and every week make a payment prioritizing together with PM/JB and send out bank slips to the factories
· Coordinate with warehouse and store personnel regarding in-delivery problems related to purchase orders and/or article information and follow-up with vendors to seek compensation if necessary. (Issue Tracker Trello)
· Every month make sure that Bex/Airtable are updated and old orders closed out
· Identifying process improvements and take ownership to help in the development of business systems (Bex and Relex)
· The Employee will devise and execute tasks in a productive and efficient manner based on current objective and guidelines (the Employer reserves the right to amend the tasks from time to time)
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in or Retail Management or at least 2+ years’ vocational education studying Logistics, Manufacturing or Purchasing
· Proficient in using Excel and good technical skills
· Fluent in English as well as Swedish (both verbally and in written form)
· The ability to communicate confidently with colleagues across all areas of the business
