About the Role

As a Junior Buyer at Babyshop Group, you’ll be part of our dynamic Buying team, supporting the end-to-end process of bringing inspiring, high-quality products to our customers. You’ll work closely with experienced Buyers and Product Managers to shape our assortment, drive performance, and build strong supplier relationships. What You’ll Do

  • Support in managing a key segment of the category – from planning to purchasing – ensuring we have the right products at the right time and price.
  • Help monitor and drive performance towards key targets such as sales, margin, and inventory levels.
  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, including negotiating terms and ensuring we’re working with the right partners.
  • Coordinate and manage product data with suppliers and internal teams to ensure article information, pricing, and product details are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
  • Work with product registration, updating prices, and handling other administrative tasks connected to the buying process.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing team to support seasonal launches, campaigns, and product drops.
  • Stay up to date on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to support buying decisions.
  • Attend buying appointments and supplier meetings to help drive newness and relevance in the assortment.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams such as Quality, Operations, and Warehouse to ensure smooth inbounds and product flow.
  • Support pricing strategies and assortment planning together with the Buying and Category team.
  • Provide daily support and guidance to Buying Assistants and interns.

Who You Are

  • You have 1–3 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or other product-related roles – ideally within e-commerce or retail.
  • You have a strong interest in fashion, kidswear, or design, with a keen eye for product and trends.
  • You’re a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • You’re analytical and detail-oriented – confident using Excel and data to guide decisions.
  • You’re proactive, organized, and eager to learn and grow.
  • You’re comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
