BABYSHOP GROUP

Babyshop Group is a multi-channel children’s clothing and products retailer with four main websites,  as well as stores and offices in multiple countries. We are growing at a fast pace, and have built a large automated warehouse that will allow us to continue expanding our business. The group, although large, operates as a young company where innovation and improvement is sought after as well as encouraged.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In the role as Developer you will be developing and maintaining our systems and integrations using Node.js, Java, and GoLang as well as SQL and document-based databases. You will help us develop and improve business capabilities, as well as working with retrieving data and making it available for business intelligence purposes.You will be a part of our newly formed tech team, which means plenty of freedom as well as plenty of responsibility - you will have the chance to help us form our development culture. Our goal is to be cloud-based, and Linux-based, and work with continuous integration to be able to quickly test and release new features. We would like to fail fast, but excel at what we do, and become the most cutting edge e-commerce retailer in Sweden.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain our solutions and integrations
• Help with technical analysis, requirements and scoping
• Setup and maintain automated testing solutions
• Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
• Help develop the company’s development standards, best practices, and methodologies

AN EXCELLENT CANDIDATE

• Organized, structured and autonomous
• Attention to detail
• Team player with a clear communication style
• Thriving with change in a fast-paced young environment
• A couple of years, or more, experience of backend development
• Good knowledge in one of our chosen technologies, enthusiastic about learning more. Node, Java, and Go.
• Experience with and interest of working with cloud-native architecture and methodologies, microservices, serverless, etc.
• Good knowledge in SQL-databases
• Good knowledge in HTTP, REST and JSON
• Good knowledge in GIT
• Good understanding of agile development, unit and integration tests as well as continuous integration
• Experience with
