CRM & Market Specialist - South Korea

The Babyshop Group is a global premium and luxury retailer of children's clothing and products to the modern family. The Group presides over an exclusive portfolio that consists of the e-commerce websites,,, and along with 10 physical stores in Norway and Sweden. We are a leading global omnichannel retailer with a total turnover of 120 million Euro.

Under this umbrella, the Group offers more than 500 prestige brands along with a number of proprietary brands like e.g. Kuling, STOY and a Happy Brand. 

Today, we are looking for a CRM & Market Specialist to take ownership of one of our largest markets - South Korea. This will be an exciting cross-functional role with responsibilities ranging from day to day CRM marketing to strategic market development planning. This person will report directly to our Head of CRM and work within the larger Growth team.

What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of the Babyshop CRM strategy in South Korea, USA, and ROW markets
  • Define target audiences and develop corresponding communication strategies across multiple channels.
  • Develop and execute on a weekly email communication plan based on seasonality and trends.
  • Identify and apply best practices to measure, analyze, test and determine new opportunities and provide recommendations for improved customer experience. 
  • Work closely with the Babyshop Campaign Manager to further develop the South Korean market and continue our growth trajectory
  • Be the main point of contact for our local marketing agency
  • Work collaboratively across the organization to develop, execute and optimize a program that promotes customer loyalty and retention.
  • Develop lifecycle roadmap and deliver actionable insights that contribute to business growth and KPI goals.
  • Map customer journeys across full lifecycle, defining multi-channel touchpoints, highlighting areas of friction, and identifying engagement and conversion opportunities.

  • Strong communicator – you are able to keep other teams updated on the status of cross-functional projects, you work well with multiple stakeholders, and like giving and receiving constructive feedback
  • Data-savvy– you enjoy looking at complex data sets to tell a cohesive and unbiased story, you enjoy tracking the efficacy of omni-channel journeys and have a passion for driving results
  • Detail oriented – you are prepared to get in the weeds to ensure emails and journeys are properly QA’d before deployment
  • Thought leader – you are up to date in latest email and CRM technologies and desire to always be a student of marketing
  • A self-starter with strong organization skills, is collaborative with team members, and has strong interpersonal skills
  • Inclusive- Experience working with groups across difference in respectful and equitable ways

Experience You Bring

  • 2+ years managing Lifecycle Marketing in-house or at an agency
  • Fluent in English and Korean
  • Strong attention to detail required to QA emails and deploy emails effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects end-to-end to meet objectives and deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills; basic knowledge of HTML and dynamic elements in email
  • Experience with web analytic software such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and UTM tracking codes
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with principles of online and email marketing
