Flutter Developer

About this role

In this position, you will get the chance to lead and develop an important part of the company mobile development initiative. Working across our flagship products with an emphasis on cross-platform mobile development, you will face a wide variety of technical hurdles and build high-end user experiences that instantly improve our way to gearing up modern families while making our planet a better place for the next generation.

You will need to be comfortable collaborating on technical concepts, advocating for the highest quality user experience and executing on delivery yourself. You will work alongside our developers, designer, and closely with the product owner to create mobile solutions from analysis to deployment and everything in between. The team operate a scrum methodology, with an emphasis on short feedback cycles and continuous improvement. Because we are a small team at the moment, we are looking for an experienced mobile developer who can wear many different “hats” during the workday; you will produce code as you’d expect, but also provide analysis, planning, and contribute to testing other mobile developers’ work. So, we believe, we as a team, by learning each other skills, we also learn each other domain-specific languages, read we embrace T-shaped profiles.  Prior experience at a high growth company will harness you good in this role.

 

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Breakdown features requirements with product owners and take lead of the app to implement it.
  • Ensure the artefacts are well covered by automated tests and deliver them with quality standards to ensure the best possible performance and responsiveness of the application.
  • Make the app anomalies traced and reported back to the backlogs. 
  • Research and recommend solutions as and when necessary.
  • Introduce coding standards, best practices and design patterns so that the app team can make awesome implementations in a good velocity.
  • Continuously deliver App releases to millions of customers without interruption of services.

 

Your experience

Key skills including, but not limited to:

  • Modern technologies for cross-platform mobile development from one or more of the following: React Native, Flutter AND/OR NativeScript.
  • You have an affinity for good UX and UI design.
  • Experience in writing tests, working with test frameworks and build code coverage tools.
  • You can create and maintain high quality and living documentation.
  • You have the understanding and eagerness to maintain open, professional communication with your colleagues from different non-tech departments across the company.
  • Be creative - Lead not follow-  and data-driven.
  • You are fluent in English while Swedish is a plus.

 

We’d love to see

  • Experience in NodeJS, Python or GO.
  • Experience in iOS and/or Android.
