Intern Placement - Fashion Marketing Digital Designer (currently studying)
About the position
We are looking for an Intern placement - Fashion Marketing Digital Designer to join our marketing and creative design teams at Alex and Alexa. To qualify for the internship you must be studying, and the placement must form part of your course requirement.
You will create visually stunning and technically well produced marketing assets for emails, onsite and banners.
We also need your help with day-to-day projects within the teams, for example;
- Design and produce attractive and on brand digital marketing assets, ensuring all
artwork produced meets the needs, requirements and brand values
- Give input to creative meetings and sharing ideas
- Supporting the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects
- Taking part in the preparation and creative process for seasonal fashion photoshoots
During your time with us you will learn;
- How to create digital design marketing assets for a e-commerce retailer, for a variety of
channels, including onsite, to email, to social etc.
- How to work within the design team to help produce creative content for campaigns
from brainstorms to final output
- How to integrate trade needs and statistics, into design for e-commerce
- How to work to fast pace industry deadlines and take on professional feedback based
on design standards and optimisation
Who are we looking for?
You should be/have;
- Skilled in photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Have a good eye for type, images and layout
- Proactive, able to take initiative and ability to work to deadlines
- A great team player
- Some creative industry experience
- Good organisational skills that support the rest of the team
- Willingness to listen to feedback and improve design standards
