Social Media Manager

Hello there, we are looking for a senior and experienced Social Media Manager to lead our Social Team of six young and hard working superheros!

Babyshop group is the largest multi-channel children’s clothing and products retailer in Europe. Operating four retail brands - Babyshop.com, Alexandalexa.com, Lekmer.com and Oii.com - we sell kids fashion, toys and baby products world wide for more than 1bn SEK annually!

We want you to lead our team of social media, influencer and pr managers. You’ll be leading and developing a team that currently keeps 200’+ followers engaged and manages 200+ influencers ranging from micro influencers to top paid social media celebrities.

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to play a critical role within the Marketing team. In this role, you will be fully accountable for - and have true commercial ownership of - the growth of social media channels for Babyshop and Lekmer, starting with Instagram/Facebook, but also the expansion of new social media channels as they emerge with technology.

We believe you are extremely data and commercially driven, you ground your decisions in data and the analysis of performance. You; have a proven Social Media Manager experience, are commercially focused, passionate about Digital Marketing, ecommerce, and able to effectively develop strategies and follow them.

 

Key Responsibilites:

  • Defining and delivering strategies to achieve our growth targets – reach, Revenue and traffic.

  • Planning, execution and analysis of the social channels end to end (briefs, creative design, targeting, media buy, testing, tracking set-up, scheduling, etc.)

  • Defining a testing strategy and a roadmap to grow the Social channels

  • Forecasting sales and preparing media budgets accordingly

  • Work with the team to make sure our Social Media strategy is inside our brand strategy

  • Assist the wider marketing team with other areas of digital marketing, in a flexible manner

  • Managing a team of dedicated team members

  • Personnel Responsibility

 

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing Social Media for e-commerce brands, ideally at an agency, technology provider or trading desk.

  • 5 - 10 years working experience within marketing.

  • Proven leadership skills and successfully leading a team.

  • Proven experience of creating and implementing a Social Media Strategy.

  • Good working knowledge of other social media channels (Twitter, Pinterest, etc)

  • Excellent numerical skills, with great business acumen and advanced level in using Excel

  • Analytical, with the ability to interpret information, news, data and research quickly – and distil the most important/relevant information for intelligent strategic development.

  • Ability to translate your analytical insights into creative briefs and/or point at creative examples that generate the results wanted.

  • Experience from a fast-paced ecommerce or tech start-up environment is a plus.

  • Advanced Google Analytics knowledge, good working knowledge of Ad Servers and online display impression tracking.

  • Good negotiation skills with new and excisting key partners.

  • Experience working with retail is a plus.
