ERP & Logistics specialist

We are looking for an ERP & Logistics specialist which will be responsible for our ERP and warehouse management systems and to help us design the next generation retail backend for a fast growing online player.  

As ERP & Logistics specialist you will be a part of our Tech department and work closely together with Partners/Vendors, Product owners, Developers and Business stakeholders. You will lead development needs related to our ERP, POS and WMS systems and processes. Babyshop Group is in the beginning of a Tech transformation journey and a modernization of our technical landscape. As a first step our inhouse development team is modernising our eCom platform and surrounding micro services. We have a clear goal to - support a growing business in a scalable way with cutting edge technical capabilities. 

The role of ERP & Logistics specialist plays a vital role in Babyshop’s organisation and the Tech team and role reports to the Head of Product. We have a lot of interesting projects on our roadmap, hence giving you an opportunity to shape solutions and implementations at an interesting stage in our journey. We believe you are a customer focused and driven self-starter that has a passion for technical solutions and product development within logistics, streamline processes and to achieve great business value. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Be responsible for ERP and logistics solutions strategic roadmap and development plan
  • Lead technical integration and needs related to ERP and logistics and act as a link between suppliers, business, product owners and developers 
  • Vendor management for selected partners and suppliers
  • Identify development needs and process improvements within ERP and other warehouse management systems and specify these to requirements to our internal development team or any of our suppliers development teams
  • Collect, organize, clarify and also challenge feedback and ideas from users within the organization to deliver value adding solutions 
  • Support the business with process improvements 
  • Configure settings, acceptance test and troubleshoot errors related to our ERP and logistics systems 
  • Be responsible for following up cost and support in forecasting for operational costs linked to the responsible systems and solutions

  • Have experience from working with ERP and related systems - either as consultant, system specialist, process owner or in a similar role

  • Open to travel to our warehouse in Jönköping and our retail stores in Stockholm and Norway on a regular basis

Merit

  • Have experience within Retail, Logistics and IT 
  • Have experience from Business Central, AX, Navision or other Microsoft products 
  • Have experience of WMS system AutoStore or similar 
  • Interested in technology and what can be achieved with it
  • Experience of SQL and REST Api
  • Experience working with agile methodologies
  • Experience by working in software project management tools like Jira
